I am smoke free for fourteen years today.
I am grateful.
P.S. If any of my visitors are thinking of quitting
and are discouraged, take heart. There will come
a day when you don't even think about smoking at
all. It takes a while, but it happens.

Here is Ursula, the villain from Disney's The Little Mermaid.
I picked her up somewhere on clearance for a dollar fifty or so.
I think she must have been part of a set at one time.

This guy came to live with us. I looked him up.
He is apparently named Bull Dozer and is a
member of the K9-CORPS. That is all I know.
He is a little..... bizarre.

I'm glad the price of the "GET OUT" Blu-ray came down
because it hopped into my cart while I wasn't looking. I've
wanted this one for a while. I've heard good things. #curious

I just inherited Minnie Mouse. Beyond that I don't
know where she came from, who made her or the
date she was made. She is about seven inches tall
and hard plastic. She has swivel points in her
shoulders, her ankles and her neck.
I really like figures like this.

I finally got a chance to play with my new Snow Peak Trek900
Titanium cook set. Nothing much, just boiled some water to
get it "dirty". Filled it up with four cups.
I put the little fry pan which also acts as a cover on top.
Boiling comes faster with a covered pot.
And BOOM. A few minutes later, a boil. Looks good
enough to eat! But just a test today. I am pretty happy with
this so far. Like I wrote here when I bought this a week or
two ago, this set is just a fun luxury for me.

Wo! Look! It's that time of year again.
You know I love Halloween, and Walmart
is starting to put stuff out.
Some of the decorations are hanging out
waiting for somebody to come along and take
them to their new homes.
Other decorations are using the
time to get to know each other.
